Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Bee Inspector (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

These terms constitute the End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and Annica Studios Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). Apple's standard EULA also applies and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula .

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial beekeeping record-keeping purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems or networks connected to the App.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Bee Inspector offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans (Hobbyist, Beekeeper, and Professional) that unlock additional hive slots and features. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through the App Store.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed annually. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing / Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not issue refunds directly.
• Free tier: The free tier allows management of up to 3 hives and is available indefinitely without a subscription.

4. Your Data

All beekeeping records, hive data, inspection notes, and other content you create in the App ("Your Data") belong to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Data.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Data. The App provides export tools (CSV and PDF) so you can retain a copy of your records at any time.

5. Team Sharing

The App allows you to share an invite code with other users, granting them access to your beekeeping data. You are responsible for controlling who you share your invite code with. We are not responsible for any actions taken by team members you grant access to.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Beekeeping decisions should always be based on your own knowledge and judgement — the App is a record-keeping tool only.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Annica Studios Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of hive colonies, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
