14. Exporting Data

Export your records to CSV or PDF for sharing, printing, or importing into spreadsheet software.

14.1 How to Export

  1. Tap the Account icon (top right of home screen).
  2. Tap Export Data.
  3. Choose what to include: Inspections, Queens, Notes, and/or Treatments.
  4. Select an apiary or hive filter (optional — export all if left blank).
  5. Set a date range (optional).
  6. Choose the format: CSV or PDF.
  7. Tap Export.

On iPhone and Android, the system share sheet opens — save to Files, share via email, AirDrop, or any other app. On web, the file downloads directly to your downloads folder.

14.2 CSV Export Contents

All CSVs open directly in Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers, or Google Sheets.

14.3 PDF Export

The PDF report includes a cover page with your filter criteria and summary statistics, followed by one page per inspection or harvest record. Useful for sharing with a mentor, your local apiary inspector, or for printed recordkeeping.

14.4 Blank Inspection Form

Go to Account → Export Data and tap Download Blank Inspection Form (PDF). This is a single-page letter-size form with a wide left margin for three-hole punching. Print it, take it to the apiary to record observations by hand, then enter the data into the app when you get back.
