15. Account & Settings

Tap the Account icon in the top right of the home screen to open all account settings.

15.1 Profile

The Profile section shows your email address and display name. Tap the pencil icon next to your name to edit it.

15.2 Appearance

Go to Account → Preferences → Appearance. Choose:

• Light — always use the light theme regardless of device settings.
• System — follow your device's system dark/light mode setting automatically.
• Dark — always use the dark theme.

Your preference is saved and applies across all your devices.

15.3 Keep Screen Awake

When enabled, your device screen stays on while Bee Inspector is open — even if you have not touched it. Enable this before heading to the apiary so you can move between hives without unlocking your phone.

Find the toggle at Account → Preferences → Keep Screen Awake.

15.4 Sign Out and Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen.

• Sign Out — returns you to the login screen. Your data is preserved.
• Delete Account — permanently removes your login credentials. Your beekeeping data is retained in the database but is no longer accessible without credentials. This action cannot be undone.
