3. The Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It gives you an instant summary of your operation and quick access to every section of the app.
3.1 Dashboard Elements
| Element | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Stat cards | Total apiaries, hives, and inspections recorded in your account. Hive count reflects active hives only. |
| Quick-access tiles | Tap Apiaries, Hives, Queens, Notes, Harvests, or Analytics to jump directly to that section. |
| Plan badge | Shows your current subscription tier (Free, Hobbyist, Beekeeper, Professional). Tap it to go to the subscription screen. |
| Account icon (top right) | Opens Account Settings — profile, preferences, team, subscription, and export. |
| NFC button (top right) | Activates NFC scanning to open a hive by tapping its tag. |
| Navigation bar / rail | On a narrow screen (phone-width): an app bar with quick-access tiles below, no bottom navigation bar. On a wide screen (tablet or a wide browser window): a left-side navigation rail. All platforms show the same sections; which layout you get depends on screen width, not the platform itself. |
