4. Apiaries
An apiary is the top-level container for your hives. If you keep bees in one location, you need one apiary. If you have hives at multiple sites, create one apiary for each site.
4.1 Creating an Apiary
- From the dashboard or navigation bar, tap Apiaries.
- Tap the + button (top right).
- Enter a name for the apiary (e.g. "Home Garden", "South Farm").
- Optionally add a location description.
- Tap Save.
4.2 Editing or Deleting an Apiary
Open the apiary list, then long-press an apiary card (or tap the menu icon if visible) to access edit and delete options.
Note: Deleting an apiary permanently removes it and all hives within it. All inspection and queen data for those hives is also deleted. Mark a hive as inactive instead of deleting if you want to keep historical records.
4.3 Navigating to Hives
Tap any apiary card to open the hive list for that apiary. Each hive card shows the hive name, type, current queen status, and the date of the most recent inspection.
